Sustainability Approach
At Mercan Kimya, we view leaving behind a respectful and sensitive organization for our nation and our planet as a major responsibility. Thus, we’re doing what we can to invest in clean energy, innovation, and digitalism so that we can create a sustainable environment for our grandchildren.
Therefore:
*We’re trying meet our factory’s energy needs using two 1-MW solar energy panels. We use clean energy resources so that we can reduce our carbon footprint, as well as use renewable energy sources in place of non-renewable ones (again, keeping our grandkids in mind). Our philosophy is simple: leaving behind clean world well after we’re gone.
At our petrochemical facility, we’ve improved our bills of material, allowing us to produce high-performance products whilst using fewer raw materials (thereby using them more effectively and making them last longer). What’s our secret? We’ve made various nanotechnological modifications, without making any concession to product performance.
Thanks to our product improvement policy, we’re constantly working on ways to reduce how much energy we use during production, thereby boosting our efficiency whilst saving energy at the same time.
We now employ robots in much of our operations so that we can keep errors to a minimum and maximum efficiency at the management level. The fewer mistakes we make, the more efficiently we can capitalize on our manpower.
